  • Set up Senior Design webpage

  • Upcoming deliverables after Idea is decided: Engineering Requirements, Specifications, Block Diagrams, Progress Log, Time and effort table, budgets and references

Meeting #2- 09/06/23

  • Create Progress log, Time and effort, Add pages under design proposal.

  • Add References page and comparative table with existing projects and available products.

  • Create modular block diagram for chosen idea.

Discussion:

  • Discussed ideas prepared under project Ideas, reaching to the conclusion of choosing the Guitar Pedal Idea.

  • Discussed on how the guitar pedal idea might come to fruition along with technical requirements the project will involve.

Meeting #3- 09/13/23

  • Reach out to Neil and Professor Valery for professional opinions.

  • Update the progress log for each person’s progress for the week as well as group progress.

  • Work on the home page

  • Set requirements of the project

  • Update time effort, meeting minutes

Discussion:

  • Went over all aspects of the website and what to clean up. All links in the reference tab are researched.

  • Went into more depth on the electric guitar idea and selected that as our project.

Discussion:

  • Discussed attention grabbers to incorporate into the webpages.

  • Went over the engineering requirements page and what needs to be changed as well as reference to other projects.

  • Went over workarounds for the ADC component and the best way to go forward with it in the project in terms of programming framework.

Discussion:

  • Discussed attention grabbers to incorporate into the webpages. Went over the engineering requirements page and what needs to be changed. Went over other projects as a reference. Went over the ADC component and the best way to go forward with it in the project.

  • Fix Home Page: buttons, spelling, go more in-depth on the pedal board and the purpose of the project

  • Intro: Start simple assuming no prior knowledge. Remove links and our story. Explain what pedals are and then go in-depth into what the guitar is

Discussion:

  • Reviewed the individual pages on the website. Reviewed the requirements and revised the levels. Went over all the minor changes and spelling errors throughout the website. Discussed the errors of the home page as well as the menu boxes.

Meeting #7 - 10/11/23

  • Work on the abstract and start on Chapter 1

Discussion:

  • November 10th report is due, November 17th presentation. Add a caption and description of the homepage illustration. Analyzed the engineering requirements and what properties need to be expanded on. Discussed the research of the fundamentals of the distortion factors and how they will affect the system. Reviewed the progress of the week and the research that was done. Discussed the best means of creating a GUI. Discussed the beginning stages of the report and to begin constructing the abstract.

Meeting #8 - 10/18/23

Discussion:

  • The presentation is on December 1st and is 20 minutes long, in person. Add waveforms to the engineering requirements. Engineering requirements grammatical errors. Reviewed all website pages and input.

Discussion:

  • Reviewed the work done throughout the week. Analyzed the GUI that was created and the experiment that was conducted in the engineering lab. Went over the project proposal report and the changes that need to be made.

  • Work on the GANTT Chart

  • Reviewed each weekly time and effort as well as progress logs and discussed the progress made through the week. Read the entire report proposal and discussed changes that needed to be made.

Discussion:

  • -add labels to figures

  • -fix notes in the proposal report

  • -fix chapter 2 and highlight the changes that were made
